Actually, LuBar & Bistro is like two different restaurants: a casual dining room on the main level and a fun bar on the lower level. The main dining room feels warm and welcoming with wood floors, black leather booths and tables, and soft music in the background. It’s a nice relaxed setting in which to enjoy a stone-fired pizza (with homemade sauce) or one of the heartier entrees, such as meatloaf and potatoes, chicken Parmesan, or a fried catfish dinner. The varied menu also includes a nice selection of appetizers, salads, hearty sandwiches, burgers and wraps.
If you’re in the mood for a drink and a good time, head down to the lower level where a striking long, wooden bar anchors the room. You can enjoy an appetizer or full meal here too, and challenge your friends to a game of darts and pool. The music volume is turned up, and a jukebox lets guests choose the tunes.
