Animals, rides, music, food—all this and more will be part of the 65th Clinton County Fair, July 17-23, 2016 in Carlyle, Illinois. This all-in-the-family event is easily one of the summer’s most popular.
Started in 1951, the fair celebrates our farming and country life. Many of the activities center around livestock, with animal judging going on throughout the week. Gear geeks will love checking out the tractors and other machinery, while others will be seeing who’s made the ultimate pies, quilts or crafts.
More fun comes at the midway with rides and games, in the arena with tractor pulls, and nightly entertainment. And let’s not forget the food. Some of us wait all year for that!
Be sure to check out the fair’s website for a full listing of events and times, but listed below are a few of the highlights.
