Pull out your calendar and get ready, because this spring is filled with a wide range of events here in Clinton County, from mid-March through to summer. Here are a few highlights. You don’t have to be Irish to enjoy the St. Patrick’s Day Trivia Night & Silent Auction at Bretz Wildlife Lodge & Winery. Hosted by Citizens for Carlyle—a portion of proceeds help sponsor summer youth programs—the evening includes a costume contest, prizes for the top 3 trivia teams and last team, and free beer!

The Aviston American Legion will be serving up a Pork Sausage & Beef Dinner on March 17, that St. Paddy himself would love. The all-you-can-eat feast includes sauerkraut, mashed potatoes and gravy, veggies and a selection of homemade pies and cakes.

Calling all Elvis fans, the New Baden American Legion is hosting Memories of Elvis on Saturday, April 6, 2019. The musical tribute event features Steve Davis and guest appearances by Buddy Holly and Patsy Cline. Come early and enjoy a Fried Chicken Dinner before the show, a fundraiser for the Boy Scouts.

It will be an evening of laughs at the Clinton County Showcase presentation of Spamalot. A spoof taken from the classic Monty Python and the Holy Grail movie, the madcap play retells the legend of King Arthur and his Knights, with help from a bevy of beautiful showgirls.
