As spring draws near, more and more people are feeling the effects of winter cabin-fever and are itching to get out and about. The Fainting Goat in Breese, IL is serving up good times and great food, with new events happening every week!
When their culinary interest was combined with a passion for serving their community, owners Ryan and Ashley Driemeyer opened The Fainting Goat, or simply “The Goat”. It has quickly blossomed into a popular hangout spot for anyone looking to try something flavorful and new! The creative menu is courtesy of Head Chef Jacob Houchlei, whose passion for experimenting and creating has produced customer favorites like Buffalo Chicken Quesadilla and Steak Pita with Guacamole & Chimmichurri.
The Fainting Goat is also a great spot for live entertainment! Performers like Roland Kreke, Travis Trone, and Jessie Womack have performances that span the rest of February and into March 2020- make sure to check out their upcoming events, the concerts usually begin between 6pm and 7pm. Valentine’s Day at the Goat is rapidly approaching and visitors won’t want to miss the Surf and Turf (Shrimp Skewer & Steak) and “All You Can Eat Crab Legs” from 5-9pm (Reservation only). Harvest Drive will headline the event from 6pm to 10pm, as a featured guest!
As an added bonus, The Goat has taken special measures to ensure the quality of their wine varieties and tastes. Chosen by a sommelier, the Goat can boast this about their wine:
“Imported from Italy, Australia, Germany, Portugal, and California’s Sonoma Valley, they [the wines] cannot be found in any local store and are exclusive to us”
