The bright lights of Christmas in Carlyle, Illinois really shine! The Carlyle City Park drive-through Christmas Light Show will brighten up your season from November 27, 2020 through January 10, 2021. Following the Annual Christmas Parade at Carlyle Lake, the lights will bring some joy to the end of 2020.
Carlyle’s Lights in the Park project planning continues throughout the year. Christmas in Carlyle Contest
Carlyle’s Christmas cheer doesn’t stop with the Park’s display. The city is having a Christmas in Carlyle Contest. Residents in the city can enter the Christmas lights contest by registering by Monday, December 7. Then you can vote by Facebook poll between December 11, 2020 and January 3, 2021. Residents in Carlyle will contribute their spirit to bring Christmas joy to anyone driving around town!
Christmas in the Park in Breese
Just down the road in Breese, IL, join in the spirit at Christmas in the Park. This light display is a walking path through thousands of colorful lights. A fun feature of Breese’s light show is Christmas Trivia. Answer questions about Christmas songs and movies, enter your guesses in the polka dotted boxes along the walk, and you will have a chance to win gift certificates from local businesses!
“Breese-y the Elf” will also be peeking our around the park. If you see Breese-y, make a Christmas wish and he will tell Santa about your wishes for Christmas. He is part of the seasonal fun!
